What color eye makeup compliments blue eyes?

I've found lots of people saying:
"I really want my eyes to look beautiful. What color makeup will make my blue eyes stand out?"or
"I have really blue eyes, but I don't know what kind of eye makeup I should use to make them stand out more."
I've also noticed the same kind of question coming from young girls, middle ages women as much as from older ladies. Everyone has the same concern.
That's why I came up here with few different looks for blue eyes.
The first makeup look for blue eyes is for young ladies, 30'sh and even 40'sh. It is very easy to create this look. Use a very soft finish foundation. A tinted moisturizer would be even better.
A soft pink or peachy blush. For your eyes makeup, apply first a beige or champagne eyeshadow as a base all over your eyelid. Then use a soft pink or peach shade on the entire lid and high into the crease. Sweep loosely beneath the eye to create a soft shape. The next step is the eyeliner.
You may use both black or a dark brown eyeliner. Heavily line the inner rim of the eyes with Khol eyeliner in Black or Dark Brown. Then line the top and bottom lash lines. Here is a makeup tip - smudge gently the bottom. Apply two successive coats of Mascara in black or brown. A nude shade of lip gloss or lipstick and that's it. Your blue eyes stand out!

The second makeup look for blue eyes comes from Estee Lauder. It's a holiday look for 2009. It gives you an idea of how to do your makeup when you have blue eyes and dark hair. The red lipstick shade helps a lot the blue of your eyes to stand out. To get this makeup look you just have to follow the same steps as for the first make-up example. This makeup can be wear at any age.

The new Dior holiday 2009 makeup trend is all about purples and grays. Some ladies were asking me if wearing purples help blue eyes stand out more. As we can see it does.
This a very fresh look. I also recommend this makeup look for everyone that has blue eyes. Not only for people with blond hair but for dark haired ones as well.

Stila's holiday 2009 make-up look is soft and natural but very chic. This time the eyeliner is more intense on top lid. Very classic and classy. To get this make-up look follow the same steps as for the first look except the eyeliner application part. Use a black or deep brown shade eyeliner on top lid just like in the picture. For the bottom only mascara. All the accent is on the eyes color.

I thought it would be interesting to give you an idea of how can you do your make-up to help the blue of your eyes stand out when you have black hair.

Use black liquid eyeliner on top lid. Very soft shade lipstick or gloss. You might want to wear a red lipstick shade. The red will enhance the blue of your eyes. But I recommend you wearing red lipstick just for going out. It would be too much for a daytime look.

I go back to blue eyes and blond hair. Clinique model wears bronzers, a very soft peach shade for eyeshadow and mascara. Very soft makeup for daytime. I recommend this makeup idea for school and work. A great way to help your blue eyes stand out without wearing too much makeup.
